As part of the POLYply series of talks, presentations and performances (Royal Holloway Poetics Research Centre and MA Poetic Practice, Royal Holloway) at the Centre for Creative Collaboration, University of London, I was invited to present my performance based sculptural practice and research, focusing primarily on my project White Whale; examining the blank canvas as an ontological object of extreme importance; why Van Gogh would consider me an idiot; and re-positioning project concepts and ideas through the pages of Moby Dick, specifically Chapter 42 – ‘The Whiteness of the Whale’.
